The M-ISP panel mounted Isolation Switch is the first part of the Trapped Key System and is on the control panel of the equipment. Available with 25A, 40A and 63A rating.
This is where the Isolator key in the Trapped Key System is placed and trapped – when the Isolator key is trapped in the M-ISP, then power is provided to the equipment.
When the key is turned the power to the equipment is removed.
The removed Isolator key can now be inserted in the next part of the Trapped Key System, i.e. Key Exchange Block or into a single component such as a Bolt Lock.
Until the Isolator key is returned to the Isolator Switch power to the equipment cannot be restored.Details to follow.
